This program of courses is designed to provide you with a clear path to mastering digital accessibility.

Once you've got to grips with the basics, we've tailored it so that you can focus in on your specialty: whether that's scoping a project plan to include time for creating inclusive materials, designing those materials, or diving into the codebase to build-in accessibility from the foundations.

We'll start by reviewing the different models, or definitions of disability. Then, we'll cover the core principles of digital accessibility as defined in some of the key international and national standards.  We'll review how to apply these practically by considering frameworks like Universal Design and Design thinking.

Finally, you then get to choose your focus depending on your role! So, if you're a developer you can take a deep dive into the considerations for your codebase. If you're a designer or content producer, you can explore how to create content which provides and equitable experience for all your users.

By the end of these modules, you should be equipped with the theoretical understanding and the practical ability to apply the principles of accessible development and design
